Researcher focused on social media policy, content moderation, and how platforms shape online speech, safety, and visibility for vulnerable communities.
My work looks closely at TikTok, Meta, and YouTube — especially how algorithms and community guidelines impact what people see, how identity gets flagged, and who gets heard.
My dissertation is a multi-year qualitative study on TikTok’s moderation systems and looks into U.S. regulation and how political debates around the app affects creators.
